Dr. Nitish Roy, the name resemblance to an Institution not only in the field of Art Direction, Production Designing, Costume Designing, but also extended to developing Film Cities, Thematic Parks, Gardens, Restaurants, Club Houses and so on. In a nut shell creating out of nothing would have been the befitting line to define his creativity.

Graduated from the Government Art College - Calcutta, Dr. Nitish Roy began his career as a commercial artist in an advertising agency. The urge to create more and the enthusiasm to break away the traditional and conventional norms of designing, took him to film set designing – rest is a history which every Indians know. Exploring new dimensions and experimenting with colours, shapes and various forms,NitishRoy has become a trend setter and established himself as a leading Art Director and Production Designer in the Film Industry. In due course he trained several present day art directors who once worked as his assistants.
